HALLIBURTON- Global Oil and Gas Service Company requires Software Developers, Software Testers , Scientists (Chemists & Technologists)
SOFTWARE DEVELOPERS AND TESTERS: A bachelors Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Petroleum, Mechanical, Computer Science or Civil) and experience with developing IT software in the Engineering space
DEVELOPERS: Musthave 5 years of experience and possess the follwoing skill sets:
- C# and C++/MFC professionals in the engineering domain are both welcome
- .NET Framework 3.0 (preferebly 3.5 SP1) experience required
- Windows Forms experience required
- Windows multi-tier application development experience required
- Object Relational Mapping (ORM), Enterprise Library, office Business Application (OBA) development
- Experience in 3D vizualization modeling tools x3D, VTK, WPS and TFS will be an added advantage
- Knowledge of Microsoft Expression Studio will be an added advantage
TESTERS: Must have 3 years of experience and possess the following skills:
- Able to create Detailed Test Plan from Master Test Plan, Functional Specification, Detailed Design Documents and Test Matrices based on functionality
- Visual Source Safe or a basic understanding of Source Code Control i.e. Versioning
- Use defect tracking software (PPM, VI, Quality Center, etc.)
SCIENTISTS – CHEMISTS and TECHNOLOGISTS
CHEMISTS: A doctoral Degree (PhD) specialization in one of the follwoing areas: polymers, colloids, surface chemistry, surfactants, cements and organic chemistry.
Experince with analytical instrumentation preferred
TECHNOLOGISTS: A Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Petroleum, Mechanical or Civil) or a Master’s Degree in Chemistry. Experience in analytical instrumentation, design and construction of apparatus and data acquisition systems preferred.
